Counseling on COVID immunization for pregnant women at the Puskesmas Cibeureum Hilir, Sukabumi City

Acceptance of the Covid-19 vaccine among pregnant women is still very low, one of the reasons is the lack of education regarding the benefits of the vaccine and the risks it may pose to pregnant women in particular, this causes pregnant women to be reluctant to vaccinate against Covid-19. The objectives of carrying out this outreach activity are: (a) To find out how many pregnant women have received the Covid-19 vaccine in the working area of the Cibeureum Hilir Community Health Center (b) Pregnant women understand the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine and have no hesitation in getting Covid immunization in the working area of the Community Health Center Lower Cibeureum. The activity implementation method includes three stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementing activities through offline counseling, (3) observation and evaluation. The activity was held on July 21 2022. Participants who took part in this activity were 37 pregnant women and 3 cadres. The results of the implementation of the activity are (a) Pregnant women who took part in the counseling have been immunized against COVID-19, (b) there has been an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the importance of COVID-19 immunization.
