Abstract

Pregnant women with health problems have a high risk of miscarriage and low birth weight babies. One of the efforts that can be made to minimize these impacts is pregnancy check-ups at health care facilities. The purpose of community service is to determine the number of pregnant women who have high risks in pregnancy, increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of antenatal care, and achieve the target coverage of K1 and K4-K6. Materials used include a letter of assignment, attendance list, and leaflets. The approach used is education and socialization about efforts to improve the health of pregnant women by detecting high risks of pregnancy in integrated antenatal care services. Community service was conducted in the working area of Cibeureum Hilir Health Center, Sukabumi City on July 21, 2022. This activity was attended by 37 pregnant women. The results of community service activities are the knowledge that there are no pregnant women who have high risks in pregnancy, increased knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of antenatal care, and the fulfillment of K1 and K4-K6 coverage targets. All participants understood the benefits of integrated antenatal care in detecting high risks in pregnancy. Health workers can work with cadres to always provide counseling on the benefits of integrated antenatal care for pregnant women.
